Jamacians swim at the Kingston Bay in Kingston on Nov. 1, 2011. Kingston is the largest city in Jamaica and the country's capital. The total population of the island country is 2.7 million, 90 percent of whom are black. Originally home to Indians, the island was found by Columbus in 1494 and was later subject to Spanish and British rule. In 1962, the English-speaking country got independence and joined the Commonwealth. [Xinhua/Zha Chunming]
