Tibet-related officials, experts, company executives and media were invited for a gala marking the 2012 New Year and the Water-dragon Year on Tibetan Calendar held by China Tibet Online in Beijing on January 4.

Guests showed great confidence in the future development of Tibet and expressed best wishes for people of all ethnic groups in China and their beloved country to keep fast-paced developments.

The gala, held in Beijing International hotel, featured songs and dances performed by Tibetan artists expressing their joy and gratitude for their happy life after the peaceful liberation of Tibet in 1959.
