Canada's Vancouver Public Library ranked No. 1 in the world

Photo taken on Dec. 19, 2013 shows Canada's Vancouver Public Library that has been ranked the number one public library in the world by Germany's Heinrich Heine University Dusseldorf. They surveyed libraries in 31 cities around the world and Vancouver came out on top. Chicago, San Francisco, Shanghai, and Toronto were also in the top five. At the bottom of the list were the public libraries in Frankfurt, London, and Dubai. (Xinhua/Sergei Bachlakov)
