Forest scenery in SW China's Tibet

Photo taken on March 25, 2014 shows the forest scenery in Lunang Township of Nyingchi, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. With an altitude of 3700 meters, the forest in Lunang presents a magnificent tableland forest scenery. Statistics show that Tibet planted 67,866 hectares of trees in 2012 and 69,600 hectares in 2013. The government of Tibet plans to increase the region's forest coverage by 260,000 hectares from 2011 to 2015. (Xinhua/Wang Shoubao)
