The African Village in the Foreigner Street of Chongqing celebrated its 4th anniversary Tuesday. In accordance with the tradition of the "village", four young Ethiopians arrived at the coffee house in the "village" early in the morning to prepare to serve their customers. The African Village architectural complex was unveiled on May 6, 2010 at the witness of the then Ethiopian ambassador to China. 20 plus Ethiopian young men and women became managers and operators of the "village", providing authentic African-style service to Chinese tourists.
