Any visitor to Wenzhou (in southeastern Zhejiang province) knows that the "yangmei," or Chinese bayberry, is the local fruit of choice. And for anyone wishing to get a closer look at where the bayberries come from, Longji Park is an ideal spot. Longji Park is just one location inside of Daluoshan's extensive network of trails. High up on the mountains covered in bayberry trees, visitors can freely walk the wooden plank trail through bayberry plantations, plucking off the plump, sun-ripened fruit as they stroll up the trail.

One highlight of the area is the oldest tree on the mountain. Its age is disputed, with some people claiming it is 150 years old. Arborist Cheng Deling disagrees, studying the tree's girth; he believes that its impressive width indicates over three centuries of growth.

The mountain park offers impressive views of the surrounding nature, as well as the city below. A variety of hiking trails are available in the park, as outlined by a map at the trailhead.
