The Hui Street in Xi'an City dates back over one thousand years. It is one of the famous streets in the city noted for culinary culture. A collective name for a number of streets predominantly populated by the Hui people, including Beiyuanmen, Beiguangji Street, Xiyangshi, and Dapi Courtyard, the Hui Street is often referred to as the Hui Lane by the locals.
