Summer seafood feast

As the barometer rises, head out to the cool new Pentahotel in Kowloon East for its summer seafood buffet. From 6:30 to 9:30 pm nightly from July 14 to August 31, diners will be able to dive in to fresh shucked oysters, a seafood raw bar, and dozens of local specialties and international summer favorites at eatstreet@pentalounge.

The lineup of succulent seafood on ice includes snow crab legs, shrimps, jade whelks and New Zealand mussels. Hot dishes will include classic Chinese, Hong Kong-style seafood specialties and Thai dishes.

The buffet costs HK$418 ($53, plus 10 percent service charge) per adult, HK$258 per child from Mondays to Thursdays, and HK$458 per adult and HK$288 per child on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, including free-flowing soft drinks.
