The reporting team of the "New Silk Road" from People's Daily Online visited the Maritime Experiential Museum at Sentosa, a popular island resort in Singapore, to review the culture and history of the Maritime Silk Road.

Entering the museum, visitors can see a life-sized replica of Admiral Zheng He’s Treasure Ship (Bao Chuan). From the screen of the typhoon theatre at the bow, visitors can get informed with the adventurous voyage of Zheng He in the 1400s. During its broadcast, the giant lion can open its mouth and spew smoke.

The Maritime Experiential Museum in Singapore is the only original museum demonstrating Asian maritime history in Asia. Apart from hundreds of precious cultural relics, visitors can get to know traditional customs of the countries along the Maritime Silk Road with the help of electronic booths and interactive touchable screens.
