Xiyue Temple is located at the foot of the Huashan mountains in northwest China's Shaanxi province. The temple used to be a place where the emperors worship the god of the Huashan Mountains. The temple, which was named 'the Forbidden City of Shaanxi', covers an area of 120,000 square meters. It is also the biggest and the oldest temple among all the temples in the five great mountains in China. [China.org.cn]
