Xiayao village, southwest China's Guizhou province, is the place where the seventh episode "Our field" of the documentary "A Bite of China" was filmed. The villagers cherish and make full use of every inch of the land. Simmer wine, bacon, kippers and roast pork… all of the delicacies here are made of green, natural and ecological food without pesticide pollution.

The paddy rice field is amazing; people keep carps and ducks together in it. This ancient cultivated system has been listed as a globally important agricultural cultural heritage.
