The Communist Party theme park opens in China's Wuhan

Opened on September 28 2015, the Communist Party theme park is located inside the 300,000-square-meter South Lake Happiness Bay Water Park in Wuhan,the capital city of China's central Hubei province.

The theme park features cartoon-like statues of prominent communist figures throughout the Party’s history, including Red Army soldiers as well as contemporary heroes, such as Chinese astronauts and Olympic champions. The park also curates special exhibitions where people can learn about the history of the CPC. [Photo:People's Daily]
