7. Beihai Park
The history of Beihai Park is long. It was built in the 11th century. As one of the oldest and best preserved royal gardens in China, it was not open to the public until 1925. [Photo by Yu Winglam/China.org.cn]
The view of Beihai Park is great; there is a big lake around a small island. Visitors can climb up to the White Dagoba to view the whole of Beihai Park. Having traveled most of Beijing, the sun is beginning to set. You can enjoy the view of sunset in Beihai Park. [Photo by Yu Winglam/China.org.cn]
