Built in 1146, the Ganlu Temple is tucked inside a valley in Taining County in Fujian province, with thousands of tourists making the difficult pilgrimage to the unique place of worship every year. The temple is named Ganlu, or sweet dew, because it has a stalactite above it that drips spring water believed to be as sweet as dew.[China.org.cn/Zhuo Zhongwei]
