The 5th Sichuan International Travel Expo (SCITE) will be held in Leshan city, Sichuan from Sept 7 to 9.
With the theme of better life and better travel experience, the expo will encompass trade shows, forums and tourism product contest.
A dedicated exhibition area for cultural and creativity products will showcase China's traditional handicrafts such as cloisonné, silk tapestry and clay figurine, as well as products from India, Russia, South Africa, Spain and Belgium.
This year the expo will add an area for outdoor tourism experience that exhibits outdoor adventure routes, mobile houses and caravans.
To promote the unique culinary culture of the host city Leshan, the expo's online platform Henglvwang.cn will organize a campaign for visitors to enjoy local delicacies at discounted prices.
A total of 21 travel agencies, airliners and hotels will present their special offers including overseas itineraries, flight tickets and hotel coupons.
