Top 10 Chinese spenders on outbound travel in H1

While Shanghai and Beijing were China's biggest outbound travel departure cities in the first half of the year, Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, and Wenzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, beat them in their outbound tourists' spending per capita, according to a report released by China Tourism Academy and online travel agency Ctrip.


The outbound travel spending per capita of eight Chinese cities surpassed 6,000 yuan ($873) in H1, the report said.
