Tourists visit the underground courtyard in Shanzhou District of Sanmenxia City, central China's Henan Province, Nov. 21, 2018. Underground courtyard in Shanzhou, a unique kind of residence in mountainous areas of western Henan, was listed as the national intangible cultural heritage in 2011. In recent years, local government has been making efforts in protecting and promoting this folk housing style, and plans to turn some places into tourist attractions. (Xinhua/Zhu Xiang)
