The 19th China Cultural Tourism Global Forum and 2019 China Hotel Supply-side Industry Chain Fair are to be held March 26 to 29 in Sanya, south China’s Hainan province, announced Li Fugen, spokesperson for the organizing committee and vice president of China.org.cn at a Dec. 27 press conference in Beijing.

The 2019 forum is expected to attract experts and business leaders from home and abroad to discuss the development of the cultural tourism industry in the new global trade landscape, including the influence of fresh marketing channels, customer demands, technological innovations and business models.

The 2019 China Hotel Supply-side Industry Chain Fair is planned to coincide with the forum, aiming to offer a platform for broad cooperation in the real estate, cultural tourism, hotel and catering industries.

The March event will also feature the release of the 2018-2019 Hotel Management Company Index Rankings and the Report on Global Cultural Tourism Trends.

The press conference was part of last week’s 2018 China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce Annual Conference, overseen by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.

The two-day annual CRECC conference, held Dec. 27 to 28 along the theme “New Era, New Realities and New Developments,” brought together more than 1000 attendees to review the development of real estate, hotel and tourism in the past year, and to explore ways to further transform and improve these industries.
