Located in the southwest suburb of Wuxi City is the Three Kingdoms City, which is one of the CCTV Television Bases, and a renowned tourist attraction. Covering an area of about 35 hectares (86 acres), the Three Kingdoms City is a Han Dynasty (206BC-220) style structure. The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a historical TV series, was filmed there.
