Beijing Expo Park marks Lantern Festival

Celebrations to mark China's Lantern Festival, which falls on February 5 this year, are held in the Beijing Expo Park in northwestern Beijing's Yanqing district, on February 5, 2023. Local performers present a gala show of land boat dance, lion dance, Yangko dance and stilt walking. As one of venues for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, Yanqing also launches various activities to celebrate the anniversary of the Games, including papercutting, lantern-riddle guessing and sugar figure making.
