The first China (Ningxia) International Bird-watching Festival debuted at the Sand Lake Wetland Park, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on March 30.

The two-month event features online observation of bird ecological behaviors, interviews with bird experts, on-water tour routes for bird watching, and displays of wetland and bird knowledge for youngsters.

International bird lovers will have the opportunity to take a close observation of nearly one million birds that live in the park.
