A wine brand from Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region edged into the list of the 11 Chinese wine market brands of 2011, according to a recent released White Paper on China's Wine Market 2011-2012.

The Jia Bei Lan is a leading brand of the He Lan Qing Xue vineyard, located along the east stretch of Ningxia's Mount Helan, which is dubbed the Chinese Bordeaux for its soils affluent with organic matters.
In September 2011, the Jia Bei Lan cabernet dry red 2009 captured the crown prize of Best Bordeaux Varietal over 10 pounds at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2011.
