The large-scale ethnic dance drama "Hometown Wedding" |
The large-scale ethnic dance drama "Hometown Wedding" will be on the stage in Middle Eastern countries over the next two weeks. This is the first time that the drama will be staged in foreign countries ever since its creation in 2009.
Hua'er, the unique traditional music of northwest China, has been included in the Intangible Cultural Heritage List by the UNESCO. The dance drama tells a love story about a couple in the Hui ethnic group.
There will be about 10 performances in a number of cities across the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The delegation will also attend some cultural exchange activities arranged by the local governments and with people from cultural circles attending.
