Ningxia offers favorable policies for HK & Macao businesses

The Ningxia government has relaxed the policies for the residents of Hong Kong and Macao running private businesses in Ningxia, according to a new regulation issued by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.

The following businesses qualify for the reduced restrictions for HK and Macau residents: commodity classification, sub-packaging, freshness preservation, labeling and stamping service for shopping malls, supermarkets and other clients; providing allocations, sub-packaging and packaging service for chain stores and supermarkets; services provided by distribution companies with the main business of commodity allocation and sub-packaging; providing sub-packaging and repackaging service on normal products; gift packaging services; office service of leasing and business industry including the design of signs and bronze medals, and the design and manufacturing of trophies, medals, badges and banners; and indoor handcraft activities focusing on leisure and entertainment.

Meanwhile, for Hong Kong and Macao private business operators in Ningxia, the regulations on the number of operators and the space of business operations have been relaxed as well.
