In April, the average housing price in Yinchuan of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region increased by 1.32 percent on a year-to-year basis, despite a slight drop of 0.02 percent compared to that of the previous month, according to the latest statistics released by China Index Academy.

Although the national housing price has been decreasing recently, the housing market in Yinchuan is showing its resilience. The average sample housing price was 5,683 yuan (US$901.74) per square meter in April 2012, 74 yuan (US$11.74) higher than that of the same period last year. It was not a big increase, but it seems that the turning point hasn’t appeared yet.
