The Ningxia Charity Federation and its subsidiary units have solicited funds and project investments totaling at some 330 million yuan (US$52.97 million) so far, according to a routine meeting held recently in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

More than 17,800 people living in poverty have already received financial aid.
