The tourism revenue of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region totaled 10.34 billion yuan (US$ 1.66 billion) in 2012, up 22.8 percent year on year, according to the Ningxia Tourism Bureau. The region received 13.41 million visitors in 2012, an increase of 14.6 percent compared to 2011 figures, the statistics said.
