The productivity of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in livestock and poultry greatly increased in last year, and many techniques have entered advanced ranks in the country, according to a conference on the last year’s animal husbandry of the region held on March 11, 2012.

The output value of animal husbandry in the region reached 11 billion yuan, up 10 percent over the same period of last year.

Ningxia made a breakthrough in dissemination of key technology through energetically promoting standard scale animal husbandry and improving system of fine breed reproduction.
