The 10th Malaysia International Halal Expo, hosted by the Malaysia International Trade and Industry Ministry, opened in Kuala Lumpur on April 3. Halal enterprises from more than 30 countries attended the expo.

Mustafa, Minister of State for Trade and Industry, stated that after ten-year of efforts, the Malaysia International Halal Expo has now become the largest comprehensive Halal trade expo in the world, which, as a one-step platform, offers an opportunity for Halal businessmen to exchange information and learn from each other, and to promote the overall Halal industry.

Mustafa pointed out that during the 10th Malaysia International Halal Expo activities such as an international Halal seminar and a global Halal Forum would be held. He said the success of these activities would help Malaysia in its stride to become the No. 1 global Halal center.

This expo attracts more than 430 enterprises from 36 countries and regions, including China, France, Indo, and features more than 518 booths.
