China’s first self-drive travel route with a northwestern flavor will be launched during the May Day holiday in Binhe New District of Yinchuan City, Ningxia Autonomous Region.

From April 29 to May 1, the Binhe New District of Yinchuan City will launch a series of self-drive travel activities under the theme of “Self-drive Travel, Enjoy the Beauty of the Northwest,” including an opening ceremony for the Self-drive Travel Base, the “One Thousand Walk Through the Binggou Canyon” activity, the “FBLIFE.COM 2013 Land Rover Annual Meeting,” the “Desert Motorcross and Autocross Race,” the “Bonfire Party,” and the Western Rock PK Time.

This route consists of a northern line, western line and eastern line, and covers eight cities and counties, including Yinchuan, Alashan League, Zhangye, Jiayuguan, Wuwei, Guide, Etuokeqian Qi, Etuoke Qi. China Tourism Group has signed an agreement with the aforementioned eight places to forge a self-drive travel league in order to provide quality service to league members and self-drive travelers.
