Taiwan’s Far Eastern Air Transport (FAT) will operate scheduled services between Yinchuan and Taipei on May 12, the second scheduled service following China Eastern Airlines’ announcement that it will operate a scheduled direct flight between the two destinations on April 23.
FAT, established in 1957, is the first private airline in Taiwan. Regular flights will take off every Sunday and will operate once a week.
Li Chengzhong, general manager of FAT, says that FAT’s scheduled service between Yinchuan and Taipei illustrates the company’s confidence in Ningxia’s development potential. The direct flight will facilitate easier, non-stop travel between Ningxia and Taipei.
