As part of its efforts to cope with the global financial crisis, ensure economic growth and expand domestic demand, the government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region initiated the West China (Yinchuan) Housing-Auto Cultural Festival in 2009. So far, the event has been held for four sessions and attracted 1.2 million visitors, generating house and auto purchases worth more than three billion yuan and drawing in another 12.82 billion yuan in investment.
“The event is awarding both economically and socially,” said one of the organizers of the 2013 session which will take place from April 28 through May 4.
This year, the show will be larger with a higher standard. So far, 30 real estate developers and 50 automakers have confirmed their participation in the show, 10 percent and 8 percent more from that of last year.
In addition, international standard outdoor exhibition booths will also be introduced for the first time, covering more than 6, 000 square meters. A painting and calligraphy show, as well as a wire walking show, will be staged to entertain visitors, according to the organizer.
