Xu Guangguo, Party Secretary of Yinchuan, capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region emphasized the importance of accelerating construction work on both related facilities and the globally-aimed Yinchuan Comprehensive Bonded Area. Xu made his comments during his inspection of the under-construction project on Thursday May 2.

Xu stated that to date, the road base and the pipeline work have been completed, with basic decoration work on the customs, inspection bureau hall and the design plan also completed.

He also confirmed that the fencing design has been confirmed and work will soon commence. In addition, the Chateau program is in the design state and final plans will be confirmed in May.

The first stage of investment for the project has attracted a total of 12 billion yuan.

Xue emphasized that more importance should be attached to the construction of the facilities and construction work should be accelerated on the project to push forward the development of Yinchuan. In addition, he stated that staff training should commence as soon as possible to ensure that the zone has qualified staff. He added that work should also continue on the publicity, coordination and financing aspects of the project, and that the quality and efficiency of the construction work should be assured.
