Located in Xiji County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Shanjiaji is a village where the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army stationed three times during the Long March. Centering on the Shanjiaji Mosque, a series of revolutionary activities took place here in 1935 and 1936. The Red Army then received a warm welcome from the people of Hui ethnic group.
