The fifth pear blossom festival is running in Jinchuan county from March 20 to April, offering the opportunity to admire blossoming ancient pear trees among spectacular alpine landscape in western Sichuan.

 

Located at where the Western Sichuan Plateau transitioning to Sichuan Basin, Jinchuan county boasts stunning alpine meadow and alpine valley scenes. The seas of pear trees blossoming by the banks of Dadu River turn the place into a fairyland each spring.

The recommended flower admiring sites are located across the various townships within the Shiwai Liyuan scenic site.

 

While away from the noisy cities, visitors might as well taste the local cuisine, Tibetan beer, join folk dance and experience unique lifestyle at the idyllic countryside.
