The Tangjiahe nature reserve welcomes visitors to admire Chinese redbuds in florescence in Qingchuan county, northern Sichuan’s Guangyuan city, in April.

A ceremony was hosted on April 5 to announce the start of the season for admiring Chinese redbuds.

During the time, wild growing Chinese redbuds forms a corridor with their pink hued petals stretching from Baiguoping to Liangshuijing and Jigongya. And thanks to the varying altitudes of growing places, the plants will start to blossom in different times and form changing views for admiring.

Located among the Minshan Mountains that stretch from southern Gansu to northern Sichuan, the Tangjiahe nature reserve boasts spectacular landscapes and rich biodiversity thriving in the unspoiled natural environment including giant panda and a number of rare animal and plant species under protection. The blossoming Chinese redbud, or Cercis chinensis, is one of the best sights it offers throughout the year.
