Lijiang town holds games for rural residents

Located 61 kilometers northeast of Cangxi county, Lijiang town’s triennial games, hosted on May 9 and 10, saw enthusiastic participation of local residents despite the wet weather.

Nearly 800 farmers from 27 villages took part in the two-day event, 14^thsession in the town’s history since 1993.

A total of 15 events, including tug of war, group rope jumping, set shot, and “rice transplanting”, attracted participants of different age groups, with the oldest being 65 and the youngest 20.
