Located 7 km to the east of Ya'an City, Sichuan province, Gao Yi Tomb Towers and Stone Sculptures, built in the 14th year of Jian'an reign (209) in the Eastern Han Dynasty, are the best preserved and most striking of all of Sichuan Province's remaining stone towers. The right tower (west) is more completely preserved than the left one, and stands 5.99 meters high, featuring delicate carvings around the body, including people, horses, carriages, birds and animals.
