Located in Shaoling Yuan, Chang'an District of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, Xinjiao Temple was built in 669 AD in order to re-inhume Xuanzang, and was one of eight famed temples in Fanchuan during the Tang Dynasty. Xuanzang's relics were protected in the five-storied Buddhist Relic Pagoda in the temple, along with the pagodas of his disciples, Kuiji and Yuance. Xuanzang's Tomb Tower is the highest one with 23 meters. [lvping.com]
