Erected in 1094, the Western Xia Stele is one of the best well-preserved steles containing Western Xia dialect and Chinese displayed together. It is a semicircular stele 2.6 meters high, 1 meter wide and 0.3 meters thick. It provides many insights for researchers about the languages, economic system, agriculture practices, religion, and ethnic minorities of the Western Xia. [lanzhou.cncn.com]
