The construction of Qingdao 2014 Horticultural Expo's main pavilions, including the Plant Pavilion and Theme Pavilion, got underway recently.

Qingdao's vice mayor Wang Jianxiang inspected the construction progress of these pavilions as well as the Expo Avenue, Expo Village and other key projects for the upcoming expo.

Wang urged related responsible organizations get well prepared for the expo within a tight construction schedule.
