The concept and initial design of Jinjialing Finance Center recently received approval from the panel composed of Wang Jingxia, the former president of the China's Urban Planning and Design Institute, and six other experts.

The Qingdao municipal government plans to build a high-end finance center in Laoshan District. The municipal planning bureau and the Laoshan District government began designing the center in March.

According to the blueprints, the center devotes 23.5 square kilometers to concept planning and 4 square kilometers to urban design and planning.
