The fourth Inter City Music Festival will kick off in Qingdao, a coastal city of Shandong province, in mid-August.

The festival, scheduled to run from August 11 to 19 on Qingdao's Gold Beach, is expected to attract tens of thousands of music lovers from both home and abroad.

Artists from the United States, Canada, Germany, France and China will perform during the festival.

A photo exhibition featuring the development of rock and roll of the United Kingdom over the past five decades is set to be held during the festival.

The first three festivals had been held annually in the Chaoyang Park, in Beijing, since 2009.
