An unveiling ceremony for the Qingdao Chamber of Commerce on Electronic Information took place in the city of Qingdao on October 18.

A total of 114 small and medium-sized private enterprises in Qingdao, featuring computer software and hardware development, production and sales, became the first batch of its members. Ji Lin was elected chairman of the chamber.

The establishment of the chamber will help create a standardized, orderly and cooperative market environment and promote both structure upgrading as well as quality enhancement through issuing common regulations and guidelines.
