Zhang Dayong, leader of Huangdao District and member of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee, met with Taiwanese businessman Xu Wendu on Tuesday.

Xu is the deputy general manager of the Engineering Department of China Steel Ltd. in Taiwan and chairman of the board of China Steel Precise Metal Ltd. in Qingdao.

Zhang said that he would strive to provide Taiwan businesspeople in Huangdao District with services of high quality and high efficiency. He suggested that both sides strengthen their communication in terms of technology and economy, and seek a broader range of approaches to cooperation. Xu also expressed his best hopes for boosting cooperation.
