The keynote of Qingdao's talents introduction was determined at a conference on April 12, in preparation for the coming "Blue Industry Negotiation" later this year.

Qingdao will arrange several promotions in China's ten most talent-intensive cities. Qingdao will endeavor to attract 50 to 100 foreign top-notch experts and more than 1800 Chinese students with overseas educational background, and the overseas training of around 500 technical and managerial personnel. 10 influential projects on talent introduction will also be supported.

A total of 93,650 talents were brought into Qingdao last year, a 33% year-on-year increase.

Blue industry, also known as the sea industry, is one of the Qingdao's most thriving industries.
