With its pledge to offer one-to-one and package services, Qingdao has attracted a large number of exhibiters from across the world to attend the International Horticultural Expo, which will be held in the city from April through October next year.
By mid-April, 97 exhibiters have submitted conceptual design plans, 90 have signed contracts and 64 have started construction of their exhibition areas, according toil Fengli, Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the event.
The whole expo, covering a total area of 241 hectares and themed "From the earth, for the Earth," consists of three major sections, Chinese Park, International Park and Green Industry Park, which are further divided into 100 smaller exhibition sections.
