Tsingtao Brewery reported 14 percent growth in net profit in the first half of year.

One of the most popular breweries in China, Tsingtao realized 1.23 billion yuan in net profit during the six month period from January to June 2017, according to a report it published on Shanghai Stock Exchange website on August 30.

The Qingdao, Shandong-based brewery raked in 15.06 billion yuan in revenue, up 2.15 percent from last year, with its global distribution network expanding to more than 100 countries.

Out of the 2.12 million kiloliters sales during the period, 900,000 kiloliters were high-end products that the company has been developing recently, including its craft beer brands such as Artistic and Pure Draft.
