Qingdao-based ReaLeader Advanced Materials Co developed an anti-formaldehyde paint that efficaciously resolves the toxic gas into water and carbon dioxide by applying graphene material.
The paint can be applied on walls to absorb decoration pollution, relieving health hazard for thousands of households.
The president of the technology company, Hou Shifeng was helming the development process of the graphene paint.
Listed in China’s recruitment program of global experts, The Thousand Talents Plan,
Hou has been focusing on preparation of nanophase material and its use in environmental protection and energy. He started targeting graphene material in 2009, gaining patents in graphene nanomaterial.
