The new year movie season has begun in China. From romance and comedy, to action movies and epic tales, there are many choices for Chinese film lovers. One of the highly-anticipated films is "If You Are the One" from director Feng Xiaogang and actor Ge You. Let's take a closer look.

If You Are The One

This is the most expensive comedy that director Feng Xiaogang has made, at 50 million yuan. Leading the cast is renowned actor Ge You and Taiwan actress Hsu Chi. As the movie hits the theatres across China on Thursday, the audience will begin a humorous journey, as the movie stars begin their romance on a luxury cruise.

Vivian Hsu, actress, said, "I laughed from the beginning to the end."

Ge You, actor, said, "The dialogue is from real life but it's different. It will inspire you to think."

Feng said, "You'd better turn yourself to be an audience member and forget your duty as a director."
